Many insurance plans will cover the Harmony Prenatal Test. To help with any out-of-pocket costs, financial assistance may be available to eligible patients. We are committed to access for all pregnant women.

The Harmony Prenatal Test is ordered by your healthcare provider and sent directly to Ariosa Diagnostics.

After your sample is received and testing is completed, Ariosa Diagnostics will submit a claim to your insurance provider.

Once your insurance provider processes the claim, they will send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

You will receive a statement from Ariosa Diagnostics for the final balance.

 

What is my patient responsibility?

The out-of-pocket cost for the Harmony Prenatal Test varies by plan, you may be responsible for applicable deductible, copay,
and/or co-insurance.

 

What if I do not have insurance or cannot afford the Harmony Prenatal Test?

We offer a cash pay for uninsured patients along with financial assistance to qualifying
patients.

 

What if I have a high deductible plan?

Many insurance plans will cover the Harmony Prenatal Test, you are responsible for paying your deductible before your health
plan will cover your care. Meeting your deductible may help lower your out-of-pocket healthcare costs.

 

What is an Explanation of Benefits?

The EOB outlines the charge for the test, the amounts covered and not covered, and the amount applied to your deductible. Importantly, the EOB is not a bill; it is for informational purposes only.

 

What should I do if I receive a check from my insurance provider?

Some insurance providers may send a check to the patient for the amount they covered for the test. If this occurs, please endorse
the check to Ariosa Diagnostics and send the check along with your EOB to:

talk with your healthcare provider about what further diagnostic testing is needed to confirm the result. The Harmony Prenatal Test was developed by Ariosa Diagnostics, a
laboratory certified by the federal government to perform high complexity testing. This test is a laboratory–developed test and has not been reviewed or approved by the FDA.
